Another day!

Today was pretty uneventful…busy at work (FedEx in Lakeland) but then slowed down so I was able to get on here and write a little.

I’m having dinner with some friends I worked with at Publix Corp Office and we always have a great time talking.  Sometimes we end up talking at the same time because we have so much to say and not enough time to say it in one evening.

I’m planning on going to a weekend crop the end of January in Kissimmee, so I need to get going on gathering up and organizing my stuff so I can get right down to work when I get there.

New Addition to the Family!

This is the newest member if our family. Karis Grey Benigas was born October 30, 2012 weighing in at 8lbs. 4oz. And 20 1/4 inches long. she is such a joy and I love her little moans as she is laying in my arms.

I also started a new job in July at FedEx in Lakeland. I am a Specialty Customer Service Rep for truck freight. I’m feeling more and more comfortable every day with handling the calls.

We are praying for a better country and a better life for our grand kids!!

SeaWorld

We took Kaison to SeaWorld on Thursday for his 2nd birthday, which was Tuesday, April 17th. It was a blast!!! He had such a great time and loved all the animals. He said his favorite part was the Seals, but we think he meant the Sea Lions. There was a 4 day old silver seal pup, but we couldn’t find it to take pictures of it. He like the Walrus in the Wild Artic exhibit too.

Major update

WoW!! I can’t believe it’s been a year since I posted. What changes have occurred during that time?? ALOT!!

I am once again unemployed, the grand kids have grown like crazy and I am a year older!!

New job!!

Well, I start my new job on Monday, March 21st.  I’m real excited about it….I love change for some strange reason!! I will be doing more of what I like to do…work with people.  I loved my previous job and the people I worked with a whole lot, but I’m really looking forward to what God has called me to do.

The other day Amanda told me that Morgan was asking her how old “Gigi” (that’s me) is because she wanted to make sure I would be around when she gets married.  It seems that the little boy across the street told her he likes her.  They are both in second grade (I think he is) and it’s so cute….we’ll see what happens.

Kaison

My sweet youngest grandson is crawling all over the place.  He is so busy learning and playing that he hardly stops to see what’s going on around him.  What a cutie!! He smiles all the time and recently has learned to pull himself up to the coffee table.  When he tries to sit down, he spreads his feet apart like he’s doing a split and then bends his right knee to sit down.  It’s so great!!! I got a video of it and I’ll upload the video as soon as I learn how!!!

Thank you for visiting my new blog. I’m trying to figure out how to import the things from my other blog “Rideouttime” because I really like this format better.

My plan is to use this blog to talk about the amazing things my grandchildren are up too!! For instance, Morgan is dancing at the Strawberry Festival this weekend with her ballet/tap class. Not sure which class is dancing, but the costumes are really, really cute. I will post pictures later!!
